We work closely with study abroad offices and faculty to develop highly customized short-term programs that meet specific learning objectives.
We organize airport pickup/return, lodging, group meals, cultural excursions, transportation and the academic work experience itself so that all faculty have to do is focus on teaching. Lost bags or student medical issues? We handle them, 24/7.
We are a small, “high-touch” company and never run more than two programs at any one time. Like the finest wineries in the world, we have chosen to be a boutique operation in order to guarantee a 95+ point experience for faculty and students.
Short-term
Intimate
Unique
Our programs can range from four days to three weeks.
Although we do at times organize larger programs, our preferred group size is 16 students. This ensures a high-quality experience for everyone, without students dividing themselves into subgroups, factions or cliques. It also facilitates logistics and the provision of services.
We leverage our long-standing personal relationships with Mendoza’s leading entrepreneurs, investors and executives to open the doors of Mendoza’s most prestigious companies to students. This means real consulting engagements and learning by doing, not only business tours.
What we don't do
Programs longer than three weeks
Programs outside Mendoza
Homestays (logistics are impractical for short-term programs where punctuality is key)
Internships for small groups or individuals
Groups smaller than 12 or larger than 35
Study tours (programs that are mainly fancy meals and superficial business visits)
Students chaperoned by our assistants or employees – the cofounders of Study Abroad Mendoza accompany groups on all activities and provide 24/7 support themselves
