Fifteen Years of Life-changing Learning
We began organizing short-term study abroad programs for the University of Virginia in 2008 as a service of English & Associates, an investment consulting firm based in Mendoza, Argentina. The firm was founded in 2003 by David English, an entrepreneur from Nashville, Tennessee.
After four years of success, overwhelming demand for our University of Virginia program, and the addition of new university partners, Study Abroad Mendoza, LLC was formed in the United States in 2012 to professionalize our operations and separate them from English & Associates.
In 2015, we became a member of The Forum on Education Abroad, recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as the Standards Development Organization for the field of education abroad. The Forum’s Standards of Good Practice are the definitive means by which the quality of education abroad programs are judged and are the standards to which Study Abroad Mendoza adheres.
